Kia broadcasts Soul EV coming back Next Year, can Debut before long

Kia has broadcast that it will shortly be taking the electric powered plunge, entering the plug-in wear with a battery-powered Soul EV. It disclosed couple of minutia about its rolling junction box, saying only that the vehicle would be founded on the 2014 Soul and be suggested for sale in choose markets. If California isn’t one of those markets, we’ll collectively eat our own feet—the state’s electric-car mandate for automakers is the prime person driving behind EV expansion. It certainly isn’t because such vehicles are money-making.

Specifics for the car’s powertrain and variety are forthcoming, but Kia pledges the Soul EV will be aerodynamically optimized and visually differentiated from its gas-powered equivalent. (Think wheels, fascias, central gauges, and possibly special colors.) The automaker also states to gaze for the new form at a major U.S. auto display soon—call us absurd, but the Los Angeles auto show seems like a good wager. It’s not like it’s held in California or anything.
